"Ruach haKodesh", i.e. Ruach (Kabbalah)[edit]

Why? --93.34.85.148 (talk) 13:17, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Why what? Editor2020 (talk) 15:07, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
Why are you not understanding our Torah?! --93.34.85.148 (talk) 19:37, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
I am not understanding this article because it was very poorly written. That is the purpose of articles, to explain the subject. Editor2020 (talk) 19:44, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Ah! ...and who are you... to say that Torah would be "poor"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.34.85.148 (talk) 20:01, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

No, not the Torah, but this particular Wikipedia article. Editor2020 (talk) 20:02, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Ah! ...but you aren't undestanding or the "contrary"? --93.34.85.148 (talk) 20:05, 20 March 2021 (UTC) i.e. Do you understand or not? --93.34.85.148 (talk) 20:07, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

So, the conclusion: We understand the Torah and this article of Torah... but you... NOT.--93.34.85.148 (talk) 20:10, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
Probably. Editor2020 (talk) 21:47, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

Cleanup on Jesus[edit]

Thanks for your recent cleanup on this article. The edits are improvements. However, per MOS:POSS and Ermenrich, the possessive should indeed be Jesus’s, not Jesus’. I didn’t think a full revert was warranted for something this minor but wanted to mention it. Jtrevor99 (talk) 04:17, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

When I tried to edit the article this popped up:
Please do not change the way dates are expressed in this article, unless you have attained consensus with other editors on the talk page of this article. Based on the consensus in this request for comment dates should remain as they are (i.e., with BC/AD only). The only exceptions apply to quotations used within the text, which should not be altered.
The lead paragraphs and infobox were created by consensus after considerable discussion by a variety of editors. Out of courtesy for this process, please discuss any proposed changes on the talk page before editing it.
This article uses the apostrophe-only possessive: Jesus' not Jesus's Do not change usage within quotes. (see FAQ)

Short descriptions[edit]

Please do not add short descriptions that are in excess of 40 characters. These are not short and are against the guideline ("no more than about 40 characters"). NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 11:29, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

Italics for Ifrit[edit]

Hello, you recently changed the Title "Ifrit" to italics. I can not fully understand this decission. According to WP:ITALICTITLE, an article should be italized when it is "for example, taxonomic names, the names of ships, the titles of books, films, and other creative works, and foreign phrases are italicized both in ordinary text and in article titles". I am not sure if the Ifrit as a demon is a taxonomic name, I guess not (although Afarit are appear in zoologial works in medieval Islam.) The other possibility is, it could be recognized as "foreign phrase", but the article is not about the phrase meant by the term "ifrit", but about the idea of an Ifrit, similar to "Jinn" or a "demon". The other article Taghut is more about the term, since taghut is not a concept, while the Ifrit is.--VenusFeuerFalle (talk) 14:06, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

Yes, it is about being a foreign word not familiar in English. "Demon" is an English word, and shouldn't be italicised. "Jinn", could go either way, but I think it is familiar enough in English not to be italicised. Your opinion may be different, and I'm not going to Edit War about it. Editor2020 (talk) 15:33, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
I checked how most sources I could found use it. It seems, they use the term in italics, when introduing it, too. Probably, I got used to the term too much, to recognize it as foreign. It seems you are right about this.--VenusFeuerFalle (talk) 22:28, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Youn Chul-Ho[edit]

Shalom, I need your help. The text above has been declined severl times. Would you correct it? 칼빈500 (talk) 09:11, 13 October 2021 (UTC)

As mentioned, you need to improve the references. That means you need to provide WP:SECONDARY sources to replace the WP:PRIMARY sources you now have. As I am unfamiliar with this person I cannot do that for you. I'll make some formatting changes to your article if you wish. Editor2020 (talk) 13:28, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for your kind mention. 칼빈500 (talk) 23:50, 13 October 2021 (UTC)

Modalistic Monarchianism article[edit]

Your additions have been reverted, and a consensus hasn't even been reached on the talk page. - TheLionHasSeen (talk) 15:17, 14 October 2021 (UTC)

TheLionHasSeen and Redvince1 are engaged in an WP:EDIT WAR on Modalistic Monarchianism. I attempted to end it by reverting to the version before the edit war started and telling them to work it out on the Talk page. I seem to have unsuccessful and they have continued to edit war. Slave bible[edit]

Please don't tweak anything this way again. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 02:25, 17 October 2021 (UTC)

You don't think the change from "A slave bible is a Bible specifically edited to serve for enslaved Christians" to "A slave bible is a Bible specifically edited for slaves" is better? I certainly do. The change from "A" to "The" was made by User:Veverve on 6 March 2020, so it was not I who "narrowed this down to one specific book". Editor2020 (talk) 02:37, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
Since this article only mentions one version of the slave bible, I think that Veverve was probably right to change the wording to "The". I have opened a discussion of this issue on the article's Talk page. Your input there would be appreciated. Editor2020 (talk) 04:01, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
Please don't turn enslaved people into "slaves"--it's 2021. Thanks. Drmies (talk) 00:24, 18 October 2021 (UTC)
I don't get that, but if that's what you want to do, OK. Editor2020 (talk) 00:27, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

Stop pretending like you don't know all of Africa descendants are the original[edit]

I just got through Reading about how how Igbo people I'm not being recognized as having Jewish ties because they can't prove their heritage. The heritage of all original Jews the true Hebrew has been erased by the Catholic Church and Europeans. It's amazing how an article can be written and the research has not been done or the refusal to be honest and tell the truth. Christopher Columbus did not discover America Africans were in this country even before the Indians Africans are the original Jew as well as God's chosen we are Hebrew we are Israel we are under protection to the covenant what is promised will be ours there's nothing anyone can do. 208.104.178.91 (talk) 11:59, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

(orange butt icon Buttinsky) Wow! I've seen some crazy claims on WP but I think this takes the cake!

The cake!!

I have exceeded my limit on 'thank you's' for Christianization of the late Roman empire but want you to know how much I appreciate your excellent work. Jenhawk777 (talk) 21:18, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

Just trying to help. If any change causes upset let me know.Editor2020 (talk) 23:04, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
You did help. Thank you for that freedom as well! The only thing that causes me indigestion are changes that create inaccuracies. You haven't and don't as far as I can see - so no worries mate! Jenhawk777 (talk) 05:38, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

Free Religious Association nontheism category[edit]

Hi, I noticed you reverted my edit on the Free Religious Association article. In hindsight I should've put my reason in the edit summary but I will put it here: the article says its goal was a "religion free of dogma or theology", so I'm inclined to say it is nontheistic. I mean, what else is a religion without a theology?

I do apologize if the edit was premature - I was following earlier precedent however. The Raëlism article has the category nontheism even though it is never explicitly called that in the article (though it is called an atheistic religion). So it seemed to me that my edit was being consistent with earlier articles.

In any case I would appreciate your thoughts on the matter, have a nice day. 24.44.73.34 (talk) 09:35, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

Well OK, I restored it. Editor2020 (talk) 14:53, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

Meaning of colors in Old Testament table[edit]

Your removal of "[clarification needed]" in the Old Testament article is a bit disingenuous. You added the colors to the table so you know what they mean, but nobody else does. Could you add a legend? Or tell me what they mean and I'll add a legend. Thanks, Dan Bloch (talk) 07:04, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

I didn't add the colors and I'm unsure what the are supposed to mean. Editor2020 (talk) 19:16, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
Perhaps you should discuss that on the article's Talk page. Editor2020 (talk) 20:27, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
I think you did, way back in 2013. But posting to the talk page seems like the right thing to do now. Thanks, Dan Bloch (talk) 02:06, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
Ah. It seems I placed the table (with the colors) in the article. If I had known enough about tables I would have rearranged it and removed the colors. You are welcome to do so. Editor2020 (talk) 23:23, 19 December 2021 (UTC)

Categories on redirects[edit]

Please don't remove categories on redirects. They are used to make sure that an article shows up under the title by which it will be looked for in that category, especially after a merge. Skyerise (talk) 03:16, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
