Dell is a census-designated place in Beaverhead County, Montana, United States.[1] Dell has a post office with a ZIP code of 59724.[2] Dell lies on Big Sheep Road next to I-15 and is northwest of Lima. As of 2017, Dell estimated a population of 35 people.[citation needed]

Description[edit]

Named for its location in a small valley, Dell sits by the Red Rock River. It was founded as a station stop on the newly completed Utah and Northern Railway, which reached Butte in 1881.[3]

Climate[edit]

According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Dell has a semi-arid climate, abbreviated "BSk" on climate maps.[4]
