Please include required attribution at Travesti (gender identity)

Bleff, thanks for your contributions to Travesti (gender identity). Two points to keep in mind: one, is about including an edit summary with each of your edits. I'll leave you a separate message about that later.

More important, is that you must obey Wikipedia's licensing requirements regarding Copyright, which includes copying or translating content from another language Wikipedia. If you are adding content to Travesti (gender identity) that is translated from es:Travesti (identidad de género) (now deleted, by Marcelo (es:Usuario:Marcelo) then you must include proper attribution for the translated content, every time you hit the "Publish" button. For details, see WP:TFOLWP.

I believe that you have added a lot of content that has been translated from es-wiki, without attribution. This needs to be fixed. You can do this, by following the instructions at WP:RIA. If you need help with that, please ask, but this is not optional; it must be done, per Wikipedia's licensing requirements, and Copyright law.

Going forward, please make sure that for every edit you make to Travesti (gender identity), you add an attribution statement to the edit summary, of this form:

Content in this edit is translated from the Spanish Wikipedia article at [[:es:Travesti (identidad de género)]]; see its history for attribution.

There is a question in my mind about how to handle the attribution, given that the history in the original article has disappeared after the A5 deletion. Hi Mathglot, I am sorry for the confusion. I am the writer of the original Spanish-language "Travesti (identidad de género)" article that you are mentioning, so I figured that I didn't need to attribute myself. I developed the article on my user sandbox on the Spanish-language Wikipedia for some months, and you can see that here. I then created the article which was unfortunately deleted almost immediately, which was a great shame for me and I considered tremendously unfair. Now, in order not to discard all that effort, I decided that it would be best to adapt that content for the article in English (Travesti (gender identity)), which has existed for a quite a time and has various issues; I copied and pasted the Spanish text in User:Bleff/sandbox3 to work more comfortably in the translation and adaptation of sources. Hi, Bleff, thanks for your comment. If you wrote the original Spanish article, I think you might be right about the attribution. I think you're doing everything okay, but I'll get back to you. One thing, though: the existing article was in pretty terrible shape even before you got there. Large chunks of it are completely unsourced, and sound like someone's personal anecdote. All that stuff has to come out. That doen'ts mean you're responsible for it, I'm just saying, that you shouldn't feel shy about just removing and replacing the current content with your content, as long as your content is properly sourced.
