Police to investigate claims Christopher Alder’s body used for police training
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) have decided not to independently investigate claims that Christopher Alder’s body was used for police training purposes. The IPCC has referred the case back to Humberside police (five of whose police officers were involved in the death of Alder in 1998).
Four campaigners have complained to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) alleging that covert police efforts to recruit them to spy on their political colleagues have left them feeling ‘intimidated, stressed and paranoid’.
