March 2015 update

Around 500 new words, phrases, and senses have entered the Oxford English Dictionary in this update. Many appear in entries that have been fully updated for the first time in over 90 years, such as whiteear, and earning.

Additions this quarter include white stuffXL, and lookalike. You can read more about the new and revised words and meanings in this article by Jonathan Dent, Assistant Editor of the OED.

Deputy Chief Editor Edmund Weiner has written our release notes for this quarter, which investigate the different meanings of have, look, large, and late.
