Ranger-led Programs
Learn more about the natural and cultural resources at Canyonlands National Park. Join a ranger for a talk, hike, or evening program. All program schedules are subject to change. Schedules and times vary, so please check locally at visitor centers and campground bulletin boards for current listings. Program Schedule Rangers offer programs daily spring through fall. Programs may include talks at the visitor center and overlooks. Rangers may offer stargazing programs and other events.

For a listing of other events, check the Calendar. This is a strenuous hike covering seven miles, part of this in deep sand, and includes a steep ascent of 800 feet to exit the canyon. Be prepared with plenty of water, lunch and snacks, any medications you may need, sun protection, clothing appropriate for the weather, and good hiking shoes. Hikes may be cancelled due to flash flooding or thunderstorm activity. If you're not driving a four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle, visit the road conditions page, or call ahead for the latest road conditions.
