Are you planning on picking up a "New 2DS XL" next week, Dustin? I would if I hadn't just bought a "New 3DS"... the pricing is really good.

Ahhh gamer's the worst example of armchair quarterbacks next to traditional sports fans, comic book fans, and movie buffs.

This is the Game Grumps group, isn't it? They tend to exhibit a complete lack of patience on anything or any sense of commitment. They're worse than the Sonic fans in that regard. The hosts themselves run entirely on instant gratification, so their fans would too. A lot of people seem to think that making a game is as simple as this. |

While I personally have no issue with delays, hell I have over 12 kickstarters, some 4 years old and I just got my first one last month; once you start putting out a product for profit, ie professionally, too bad, you open yourself up to criticism , right or wrong. That is the nature of the "professional/business" world. You can't then sit down and cry, but I am a small time indie developer. Just ignore it and move on.

I actually also just bought a New 3DS XL. Nintendo's selling manufacturer-refurbished models through their store for about $10 more than the New 2DS, and I figured even if don't use the 3D that much, I may as well have the revision that can do everything. I am thinking about picking up a New 2DS for my wife later in the year, though. |

Looks like Woody and Buzz will finally get their chance to shine like they were originally supposed to in Kingdom Hearts II. I wonder how much of the movie cast they'll be able to get for the Toy Story world. I know Tom Hanks is a definite no, since he only does the voice for the movies (likely his brother Jim will voice Woody instead).

The Curling Bombs in Splatoon 2 can ink large areas of territory pretty quickly.

Nope generally anyone with a twitter, discus, youtube etc account and uses it to express dismay at why developer's or publisher's (which they habitually confuse) don't do this and don't do and in the process potentially leave money on the table. Like not making a sequel to a series that wasn't much of a seller. Or wondering why they made a game and made it a new entry into a series instead of just calling it something else (even if they game in question was good). I've never really watched Game Grumps before in spite of how often I see them mention or see thumbnails on Youtube. |

Well, I meant the people grumbling about Dream Daddy (I was being unclear, rereading what I typed), but yeah, I've seen that sort of complaining many times. It's just that one of the characteristics of the Game Grumps hosts (Arin in particular) is a total lack of patience and a lack of commitment, so I figured that must attract people similar to them. Are gamers getting less patient? People muttered about Ocarina of Time being heavily delayed, but it was nothing compared to the vitriol over delays for Mighty No. 9. Granted, the quality of the games are quite different, but the fact is that the two games were delayed by a comparable amount, yet people were treating delays for Mighty No. 9 like as if it was a cardinal sin. Or is it a generational thing, considering there was a game based on the recent Hobbit films that was delayed for four years, but it was aimed at an older audience than your normal video games and they were forgiven when it finally came out several months after Battle of Five Armies? |

We'd really love to know exactly how well our favorite anime sold on Bluray and DVD. Why do they keep these numbers from us? Justin gets into it.

Answerman - Why Do People Make Curry Rice When Camping?

According to anime, it's possible - and common - to make Japanese-style curry when camping. But is it all just an elaborate, mouth-watering fantasy? Justin chimes in.
