In response to the recent events in Ukraine, Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends avoiding unnecessary trips to Crimea and Ukraine's eastern regions.

People travelling to Ukraine are advised to take additional precautions, exercise caution at the locations of massive gatherings and follow media reports.

According to the recommendations published by the ministry on Wednesday, the political and security situation in Egypt also remains unstable, therefore, people are advised to avoid trips to the country's Northern Sinai Province and the resort of Taba. Due to a higher risk of terror attacks, people are also advisdr to avoid trips to Sinai's southern resorts.

Moreover, people are also recommended to avoid unnecessary trips to the Egyptian cities of Cairo, Alexandria, Ismailia, Port Said and the country's other majors cities and Nile Delta settlements as the risk of demonstrations and protesters' clashes with security forces remains high there.

Those traveling to the Red Sea's resorts of Hurghada, Safaga, Marsa Alam are advised to exercise caution and follow the instructions of travel guides and hotel administration.
