Subscriptions to the digital edition of The Atlantic Magazine can be managed via your iTunes account. Issues are sold individually for $6.99 or for a year-long (ten issue) subscription for $21.99. Payment will be made through the iTunes store to your iTunes account and subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication.

Really the absolute worst app I have ever used
Difficult to search.
When reading an article and accidentally swipe left or right when scrolling, the screen shifts to the cover of the article and you have to scroll through it to get back to the place you were reading. And btw when you are trying to scroll quickly there is a good chance you will swipe left or right again and have to start over.
This failing is in addition to the problem that one cannot save the place where they stopped reading and have to scroll through the article to find it. Don't accidentally swipe left or right!
I've been a subscriber for 15 years to the magazine. I travel a lot. It would be nice to be able to read my favorite mag without INCREDIBLE frustration. With all the intellect, couldn't you hire a few decent app developers!?!?!
Completely Unusable Update: now worst app ever
Besides being disorganized this thing is continually asking for my account number off the mailing label. Like I travel with a hard copy so I can read on my iPad. Really annoying. Seriously what's the point if I can't use this on the road. Ask it once, fine. This is awful. It was good before. Update: it is now even worse. Since I have the label I tried once more. It tells me "success!" And doesn't allow me to access anything. Worst app ever. Doesn't even exist.
Atlantic app - Terrible
Login? Not possible. Ask to redo password? Also re-routed to generic login page. I am a print subscriber. Login using address label? Nope! Re-routed to generic login page which does not ask for address label information. How did I get to this point? App was not working. It crashed EVERY time. So, I deleted it and downloaded it again. Useless move. If The Atlantic is actually paying a company to create and manage this app, they should drop them, sue their sorry derrières for incompetence and find a new app writer!
