Fans Design Pokémon-Themed Shoes Using Nike Customization Service

A new novelty account on Tumblr and Instagram called Pokémon Nike ID, or PokeID, shows fans how to create a variety of Pokémon-themed shoes through Nike's online customization service, Nike ID.

Clicking on the various shoes on the PokeID Tumblr will bring up the Nike ID customization page where each can be purchased.

Some examples are shown below.

The Pokémon franchise has enjoyed a surge in popularity after the release of the smartphone game Pokémon Go in July. The next full-length Pokémon game, Pokémon Sun and Moon, will be released worldwide on November 18, and new information about the game continues to be revealed.
