From the review, I got the impression that you are also up-to-date with the Devil is a Part-Timer light novels, and that they tell the story better with more detail. Where are the official translations of the light novels up to compared with the manga adaptation? If I just want to get the post-anime plot points, where would I start?
"3 Men & a Baby" (I guess this would be "3 Devils, a Hero, a High School Girl & a Baby") plots can be cute, funny, and insightful, even if they've been done a million times before (even the "original" Hollywood 3 Men & a Baby was a remake of a much better (imho!) French film). I'm curious what specifically inspired Satoshi Wagahara to use this plot device, and how he fit it into the overall plot of the story. |

I am up to date with the novels, and I'll probably be writing a review for volume 5, which is out this month. Basically the novels are three story arcs ahead of the manga, which seems to be running at a rate of two volumes per novel. It's not so much that the manga leaves things out as that it doesn't go into as much depth or detail. The anime covered the first two novels pretty closely, so if you wanted to, you could just pick up the third - and if you're not averse to reading light novels, I'd suggest that over the manga.
I love the French version of "Three Men & a Baby!" This is more like "A Bunch of Incompetents, a High Schooler who Knows Things, and Baby." |

I don't get it, why they don't make a sequel for the anime adaption?

Corpse Party: Blood Covered GN 1
manga
Corpse Party's manga adaptation isn't quite as good as it could be due to some issues with both art and story, but it still seems like it has potential.
― Based on the updated version of the horror visual novel/adventure game, Corpse Party: Blood Covered feels like When They Cry's younger sibling. It's trying really hard to hit all the same horror highlights, with some lighter moments thrown in to ke...

Comfort food takes on a new meaning in the endearing and adorable first volume of Sweetness & Lightning, even as it stumbles a little when combining its genres.
