Interest NYC Orchestra Holds Concert Honoring Shōnen Anime

New York's animation ensemble iconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra, a chamber ensemble, is opening its 2016-2017 season with "[email protected] Music," a tribute to shōnen and magical girl anime. The season opens with the first of four concerts on October 7 at 7:30 p.m. at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music.
The line-up includes selections from Astro Boy, Lupin the Third, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, One-Punch Man and Saint Seiya. The concert will then wrap with a tribute to Tite Kubo's Bleach to honor the manga series ending this year with a special concerto composed of Shiro Sagisu's latin-inspired "Arrancar/Hueco Mundo" score..
Tickets are US$20 for general seating with discounts for students and 2016 New York Comic Con attendees. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
