Pikachu Continues His Campaign for Ketchup in Short Song

The Pokémon XY & Z character song project added Pikachu's first-ever solo song and it's all about ketchup.

This isn't the first time Pikachu has shared its love for the tomato condiment. The electric mouse Pokémon is the current face of Japanese food company Kagome's “Ketchup Daze! Pokémon Campaign.” It's Pikachu's third stint representing the company's ketchup, a match chosen thanks to the easy pun, "Pikatsu" instead of "Pikachu."

Magikarp's official fanclub released their ode to the notoriously useless fish. Slowpoke also got its own relaxed reggae theme. The character song project page is currently streaming themes for Satoshi, Puni-chan, and Team Rocket.
