Do you like it when you anime releases look like this?
If you love K-Project or just nicer anime releases in general, there’s a survey VIZ needs your help with. It’s super important and fans can have a very real impact.

Take it, share your heartfelt opinion and spread it far and wide to all who love anime and want to shape the future. Anime fans have a voice, so Sing it! The more fans that join in, the better. <3

There’s a lot of snarky at best, cruel at worst cosplay convention coverage out there. I, myself, have been approached by asshats with a camera and it can really put a cramp in your convention. You might think it’s a bit cheesy, but I feel it’s important to always be kind and admire the hard work fans put into their fandom.

No matter how long or short a time you have been in fandom, you all deserve RESPECT.

Enjoy a bit of fun times from NYCC.

Hi Char~ I'm Prissi, the Eternalmyumoon you met at AX yesterday. Thank you so very much for your kind encouragement of my costume. It was my first cosplay and also my first convention and I was rather nervous and awkward. You were a HUGE inspiration for me when I first decided like 12 years ago in 10th grade I wanted to make this super shiny ridiculous floofy costume. I am no experienced costumer like you & to know you saw it and liked it, well, it means so much. <3 Thank you, thank you again.

Totally late reply, but THANK YOU! Seeing your Eternal Myu costume was really a highlight of an already great AX for me. You did an amazing job and were super cute - has anyone told you you kinda look like Marina? You totally do!

Seeing SeraMyu cosplay never ever gets old. You simply can’t have a bad day when people are cosplaying SeraMyu in your general vicinity.

Also, what an AMAZING first cosplay! Dude, I hope you keep it up- you have some serious talent!

How did you make your infamous Cutey Honey cosplay? I'm in the process of figuring out fabrics and such and your entire look is just fantastic!

I used one of my favorite fabrics to build cosplay out of, Super Stretch Lycra (sometimes called Jumbo Spandex). It’s about $20-$25 a yard and only 2-way stretch, but it is extremely sturdy, photographs beautifully and has both a matte and shiny side. The stuff you want is 90% nylon, 10% Spandex.

I secured the front with a couple pieces of fashion tape and it was super sturdy. It looked risky, but that costume was not going ANYWHERE.

Normal Lycra just does not hold up for these types of bodysuits. You definitely want to spring for the good stuff.

(I use Super Stretch for sailor senshi fuku as well, using the shiny side for the top, matte for the bottom)

TIGER & BUNNY loving pals! If you want to see the new movie in a city near you, please give this a signal boost!

There’s a new survey about the upcoming T&B movie coming this Winter - answer a couple short questions and let your voice be heard! <3

In other news, I’ve been really-really busy up here in NorCal, but I’m trying my best to be better at Tumblr in general!

A very simple and QUICK fix for making this Summer’s loose styles work fabulously for us busty girls. I have to do this often and thought it might be helpful to share. Styles this drape-y up top tend to make me feel like I’m wearing a tent and that is no bueno.
Just sew in a couple rows of soft, thin elastic either below the bust (for Empire styling) or at the waist. Choose what looks best on your body. I like the ¼" baby soft elastic. Zig-Zag over the elastic, using the gingham pattern as a row guide. Easy Peasy.
If you have a button gaping problem and WHO DOESN’T, use those little clear or white plastic baby snaps in between the buttons and at the end of your elastic rows.
Now even the oppai-est Oppai-hime can rock these soft and billowy Summer looks with ease and style. TRY IT! <3
