Next up, Flood Registration Rollovers!:
During the next week we will be contacting the people who will have badges rolled over due to the floods last year. We will make another announcement when we have finished rolling over the unclaimed badges in our registration system. If you believe you are owed a badge and we do not contact you by August 13th, please email online registration.

Keep in mind that we do not mail badges out ahead of the convention for any reason; they are held on a will-call basis at our pre-reg desk.

As promised, here is the hotel link for 2014.

https://resweb.passkey.com/Resweb.do?mode=welcome_gi_new&groupID=20638418

The Marriott uses a third-party booking agent called PassKey to handle room reservations. Do not call the Marriott to reserve a hotel room. If you do, your room reservation may not be guaranteed. Keep in mind that we usually sell the hotel out in less than a week, so if you want to be in the main convention hotel, do not delay in reserving a room!

Please note that atrium balcony rooms sell out in less than 5 minutes.  If you are trying to book one, and the atrium option isn’t available, it is because they have already sold out.

Entering the Inner Atrium Balcony Decorating Contest? We’ll have updated information ready in the spring. Until then, you’re welcome to view the 2013 pagefor reference and relevant measurements to help with your planning.

Toight is the BIG night!

Tonight is the big night, so here is all the info you will need to ring in 2014 with us!

Registration opens at 6:00. Tickets at the door are just $20. If you have pre-registered, your tickets are held on a will-call basis. We never mail out the wristbands ahead of time. Parking for this event is free.

All costumes have to abide by our dress code, so make sure you read it before coming to the hotel. Last year we had a few people trying to crash the party with unapproved costumes. Please keep in mind that if you are caught sneaking in, you will risk being banned.

No tie, no problem! If you forget to bring a tie to NYE, you can get a really ugly one at our charity table. A $5 donation will give you a chance to win a fabulous tie from the Ugly Tie Tree.

We also have new traditional charity games for this year, expanded pachinko parlor, and an upgraded casino!

We are holding a food drive for Food Bank of the Rockies. Bring in 2 canned goods and receive a free masquerade mask! Our silent auction is also back this year, so come bid on awesome items for a good cause!

Have an amazing costume? Our annual royalty contest sign-up is open from 7:00-8:30 pm. Enter to win fabulous prizes and strut your stuff. Details are here.

Can’t wait to see you all later tonight!

Board News

It is with regret that we must announce that A Jinnie McManus is no longer with RMAA or NDK. This past weekend, RMAA held its annual meeting. As a result of a vote, Ms. McManus’ Director status was rescinded, and her area head status with press and social media was restored. Rather than continue with NDK as an area head, and lead the industry team, Ms. McManus has chosen to leave NDK. With her resolute drive, unparalleled PR savvy, and a bevy of cupcakes, Ms. McManus made significant and lasting contributions to this organization. Her absence will be strongly felt, and NDK wishes her nothing but the best in her future endeavors.

Join us for NDK NYE!

We’ve updated all the information for NDK NYE on the website! Come welcome the Year of the Horse with us! Learn about registration, booking a room and more here.
