Oh I was hoping the last episode of Concrete Revolutio, would be a lot higher.

To be fair, it was the weakest episode we've had from the show. It was a hasty transition into a new arc that left a lot of slapdash issues. As long as the stronger shows maintained their consistency and the weaker shows had a clutch finale, then these ranking were understandable. Also One Piece had a better episode than usual it seems. I'm not surprised. But it will probably be back up there next week. Though I'm hesitant to think it will be back on top. Rank 2 or 3 or 4 seems fair. The most recent epsiode of Re:Zero is one of the best yet and it's doing something really interesting with Subaru, but it's the kind of thing a lot of fans are not going to react well to because it's actually taking him to task for a lot of typical protag shit. He is not supposed to be likable here and the show is not on his side and that usually doesn't go over well because most of this stuff is designed for the viewer to be on the main character's side at basically all times, and even when they're wrong they're usually wrong in ways that allow the viewer to still sympathize with them and like them. And Re:Zero isn't doing that.

The Re:Zero episode that plummeted on this chart isn't the one where Subaru has his emotional breakdown. It's the one from last Sunday where nothing much at all happened because it's a transition episode.
We'll see what happens next week with the other one. Last edited by JesuOtaku on Tue Jun 28, 2016 4:57 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Same here. I'm also disappointed that AssClass couldn't hit #1 for the week, but losing to All Might's big moment isn't shameful. |

This is for the week of June 17-23. The newest episode of Re:Zero aired two days ago, on the 26. This is for last week's episode, which I'll admit wasn't the best.
With this recent episode, I fully expect it to be near the top again. It was legitimately fantastic. Oh, I see Mr. Chapman already addressed it. |

A lot of shows had a good episode in the week covered by this one, especially Assassination Classroom. For One Piece, I think people were mainly glad that Dressrosa is finally finished after what 2 years and over 100 episodes. Can't imagine it will keep the rating during the Silver Mine filler arc, as the most recent episode's rating shows. Going by the available ratings, Re:zero will go up by at least 3 ranks, as it's 13th episode is better rated than the corresponding Sailor Moon, One Piece, and Sakamoto episodes. Any further will be difficult to predict as it is tied in raw ratings with MHA, Jojo4, and Ushio and Tora. [Edit: as of time of edit 13 has edged under the aforementioned shows but remains above Sailor Moon, One Piece and Sakamoto] It won't be first though. Barring Assassination Classroom's last episode getting the same or better rating than the penultimate one, Flying Witch will actually take first next week. Also while 12 was a weaker episode of Re:zero, it still got 4.4 in raw rating, which isn't horrible by any reasonable measure. As I said in the beginning, it wasn't that it was bad per se, but rather that 8 others were great, three of which didn't keep that up in the next episode. Damn, Kuma Miko. Sure, your last episode was bad on like three different levels, but at least you still beat Big Order.

Well they are just in different leagues. Kuma Miko is just in the amateur league in terribleness. Big Order is the reigning champion of the professional Terrible league. Kuma Miko just tripped into a bad ending. Big Order has been working hard since episode one to be terrible. |

Your way of describing it made Big Order seem like the real winner in this competition. Then again I totally expected Kuma Miko to drop to last place. |

Oooooh, whoops. Seems like a bit of a harsh drop for just being a transition episode but from a bit I saw in the thread for it, it seems like some people familiar with the manga and/or anime were disappointed with the pacing and/or stuff not being included in the adaptation as well, unless I'm also mixing that up with criticisms of this week's episode. |

I have always maintained that last place be referred to as the Chaos Dragon place, in memory of the first resident of that spot in the ratings. |
