I have to wonder how hard it was to write this article and avoid any mention of sex-bots and androids even after including Chii. I remember seeing quite a few but for the life of me I can't remember the names of most of them right now. Can anyone fill out the list? |

Making humanity evolve into Innovators to prepare us for contact with aliens is also a plus. |

I'm surprised the NerveGear from Sword Art Online wasn't mentioned. I would love to own/use that tech. Sans the mind-frying capabilities, of course.

This week's poll is impossible, I want to pick all of these. I never realized how many of my favorite characters were middle-aged dudes until it was presented like this.
Oh heck - going with Batou (anime version(s), not the dumb musclehead he is in the manga). Although how old any of those characters are is vague thanks to the whole full-cyborg thing. |

For me a persocom would have been number one on the list.
It is probably better not to go into detail about why. I would leave the Angels in second place just because Angelic Layer looks like it would be a lot of fun. |

Funny that you mentioned Anywhere Door from Doraemon because basically EVERYTHING Doraemon has is what we really wish was real.

I could use some of those GN drives for my home and cars, I would never need to go to a gas station again.

What? No nervegear? That would probably be at the top of my list. Who cares about psychopathic game masters who can trap people in the virtual world, right?
Number two would probably be the time travel desk from Doraemon. Let's not worry about any repercussions from that for the time being. |

I'd prefer Medabots over Angels. Tones down the creepy factor a bit, ya know?

What about the Cyberdolls from Hand Maid May? A maid android would be fun to have around one's household. Besides being a helper, they can be interacted and played with just like a real human.

GN Drives would be awesome! But they would be exploited so freakin' quickly. Before long, you have GN Drive Cannons attached to battleships, blowing up entire cities by the blast.

No more unbelievable than why he's called that. >.> So how are we defining "middle-aged" for the poll? I can think of several to add that I see as middle-aged, but I think my sense of that is skewed. |

Combining the Capsule Corporation capsules with the Anywhere Door...my god, moving companies would go out of business. XD

Kuromukuro Episodes 14-26 Streaming
anime
Kuromukuro does its best to resolve its many mysteries in its action-packed second half, but does it succeed? Theron Martin investigates.
― Despite Netflix breaking the series into two 13-episode blocks for its subtitled stream, there was no break in Kuromukuro's 26-episode airing in Japan. Hence it's only natural that its second half picks up exactly where last season left off with zero recap. Where...
