I am just sitting down to listen to this, but I'm warning you: I'm going to be VERY upset if the word from the sponsor isn't as good as last time. You can't just give us that and not expect us to want more.

Well thanks, Justin. That review explains why Empire of Corpses seemed to disappear from the Japanese box office so quickly. I think the producers over at Noitamina really dropped the ball with recent projects, thanks in part to Manglobe, and now Wit Studio is paying the price. Almost a year ago they announced an original series directed by Tetsuo Araki that was supposed to come out in 2015, but it seems it has been put on indefinite hiatus. At least I hope that is the case because if Wit and Araki are working on anything in 2016 that is not Attack on Titan (their golden ticket to the chocolate factory) they will piss off literally millions of people around the world.

RightStuf ad was obviously tongue in cheek right from the get go. Ah, Zac, we're guilty of taunting you last time to the point where you're forcing yourself to shoot for the stars in BS-land, LOL.
Anime I wish you guys would dissect beyond redemption: Wolf's Rain. (Hmm, I think I already hear groaning in the back 40). Made for TV flicks maybe worth watching: this season's Fargo. It is as gritty as the first season that had Billy Bob Thorton as the bad guy. I really look forward to the new episodes when they air. It is the only TV show I like this season. |

Kind of weird to see Anncast become an advice column in the last bit.
Kind of hope the other Project Itoh films will be better, it hits my genre buttons. Although given some of the excepts from Harmony I've seen eh.... |

Crunchyroll might want to tread carefully. Getting into bed with too many people is what killed ADV.

It is great to hear Justin's voice. I am glad to hear he liked Miss Hokusai. I usually like the anime that Justin enjoys. I also hope someone picks it up for NA distribution.
And Hope, I feel betrayed. I had no idea you were wavering between Blood Blockade Battlefront and Yuri Kuma Arashi for favorite anime from 2015. I was under the impression that BBB was hands down your favorite anime series from the last 3 years. Fun podcast. Last edited by angelmcazares on Fri Oct 30, 2015 5:41 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Ha ha, I think that's because I wasn't writing about Yurikuma Arashi! But even though I wasn't reviewing it for the site, I was totally enthralled by it. |

I laughed super hard at Zac's description of his perfect Jem movie! I agree 1000% that's what I wanted too; a totally friggen crazy, out there, over the top crazy movie.. the most truly outrageous 80's explosion ever. Jem was a little before my time but I watched it on netflix like 3 years ago and fell in love with the cheesiness.
Sounds like I need to see Pan when it hits discount theaters. I loooove bad movies. And ofc they couldn't show hook go evil; that's for the spin off that will build the Pan Cinematic Universe! >.> Also Yuri Kuma easily best anime of 2015 because ikuhara and lesbians On the love advice column... my advice for her: cosplay as Hestia for him and everyone's happy. Can't say am surprised at Empire of Corpses being a mess. I was already aware of it being based on the unfinished novel, and it sounds worst due to them having to rush it out to make to replace Manglobe's film. Hope the other ones are better.
Big bad movie guy,and Pan sounds wonderfully shitty and incompetent. The actor playing Hook, sounds like he just gives one of those "am going to see how much I could get away" performances. I agree with Zac and Hope oh how bad the Halloween series is. Halloween 1 is a legitimately great film with it's focus on atmosphere and not it's body count. And after that the series becomes schlock, but not schlocky enough.Only good sequel was 3 which was so off the walls with it plot of Stonehenge, robots, and evil Irishman that it was great. |

Another wonderful ANNcast, these really make my week when I see a new episode posted.
I first wanted to highlight how happy and upbeat Zac sounds on this episode. Though I've only met the three of you at AX twice throughout my life (born and raised in NJ) I like hearing about the changes in your life. Like how Zac has been hitting the gym and I think it really shows. I just wanted to say it's great to hear how upbeat you (Zac) sound and keep up the great work. Really great to hear Justin's voice again too and also his opinions on the few Anime film's he's seen. I haven't seen any of those yet, but certainly want to in the future. Also really looking forward to Hope's top 10 OP/ED of 2015 later this year. I know it must be allot of work, but I really enjoy that column. Especially since I only watch, MAYBE 2-3 shows throughout the entire year, it's great to dive into something with some good music. |

1. My suggestion to the guy unsure how to decorate his apartment with his collectables is to treat them like any other part of the decor: Don't worry about having a specific room or space for your things; Put them where they will look the best and, especially when taking size into account, where they will not be in the way.
If these things are an important part of yourself, you need to be open about them. Unless your pieces are X-rated and will not be appropriate for children or will offend certain people, which needs to be taken into consideration, have them where they will seen and appreciated; It's no good for yourself, or the people in your life, to be closed about such things. Regardless of whether or not you're introducing new people into your world, your home should be both livable and a reflection of you. I would argue that a house with garbage all over the place and a nasty, unclean, fridge says far more negative things about a person than well-arranged figures on a shelf. 2.
Have you checked out the comic yet? It is Truly Outrageous! No, really, it's exactly what a reboot should be, and the people behind it have shown so much love for the property and the fans. People who aren't even Jem fans are buying it because the art and stories are so good. 3. Yeaah, there was a definite drop-off in quality between Back To The Future and its 2 sequels. |

Too much Star Wars publicity? Really?
I think that I saw some decoration on the doors to a Target store once ... and other than a radio mention of when tickets went on sale, I don't think that I've come across anything else. I haven't seen anything online or on TV (not that I watch much TV), but I also haven't gone looking. Hmm. No, I guess that I do recall noticing the existence of more than a few Star Wars toys on a shelf down a toy aisle in a store. It gets here at some point in December. I know almost nothing about it, but I'll go see it. A friend of mine was part of a rotating group of theater-line campers at San Francisco's Coronet Theater ahead of Episode 1, so that gave me a bit more of a buzz about that movie than I've had about this new one. Not much else to say so far. |

Review: Doukyusei -Classmates-
anime
This ethereal boys-love film, appearing in a limited theatrical engagement beginning May 6th, dives right into the love confessions and intimacy and never turns back.

Fairy Tail BD+DVD Part 19

Date A Live II BD+DVD
anime
Despite some frustrating aspects, this second series is, overall, a slight improvement on the first.
― With nine months in between its first and second parts, Date A Live II is more a second series than a second season. Answerman - Why Do Manga Artists Prefer To Stay Anonymous?
