This podcast raises the bigger question: when are we getting a Polar Bear Cafe kickstarter?
I'd pledge a few hundred bucks just to get the halloween episode on blu-ray. Maybe have real penguin cards as a stretch goal? |

As someone who backed the Time of Eve kickstarter, it was really fun to listen in on this. Didn't realize so many of the backers were male, though! o_O

Also really enjoyed listening to the Podcast! I had followed the Kickstarter being a backer and all, but it's nice to hear an update/perspective of where Time of Eve has come from, and where Pied Piper, DIRECTIONS, and Yoshiura is going from here.
Really hope Pied Piper and DIRECTIONS see their hard work pay off in the way of public sales of the movie and all the related materials. |

Ann is one of the hardest working people in the business! She's my hero after orchestrating such a massive and fantastic release. The thing that gets me every time I read through the Kickstarter chatter is how much love the fans and staff put into the release. It really is a special little cafe, Time of Eve.

I was excited to see that she was invited to do the podcast! Loved it! I was surprised how little amount of people were actually doing everything.. that makes the feat even more impressive! I love the disk and loved the quality of work put into it. I had no idea about the shipping though they have been really vocal in being up front with what has been going on. I was very appreciative of all the feedback and updates as the process went along. As someone who will be doing a project next year it was nice to hear of the stuff going on behind the scenes and what to look forward to when a campaign succeeds. I'm so happy theirs did so well. It's a great movie and the level of detail they added to the project and all the extras were really a treat. A lot more than I expected. I'm so happy for them.

I, also, find it curious that the vast, VAST majority of kick starter participants are male.
