Final Fantasy XIV Gets Yo-kai Watch Crossover This Summer

Square Enix announced during the livestream of its panel at Niconico Chōkaigi 2016 event on Friday that characters from Yo-kai Watch will join in the adventure within its MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward this summer.

Thirteen characters from Level-5's video game series will appear, along with collaborative weapons and a flying mount. The collaboration goes both ways, with Chocobos and Moogles set to appear in Yo-kai Watch 3: Tempura for the Nintendo 3DS. The 3DS game is slated for release in Japan on July 16.

Favorite characters like Jibanyan, Komasan, Usapyon, Whisper and more are set to appear as minions. The latter will be available as both an in-game minion and as a flying mount.
