While I'm not getting this series, it is one that I have some interest in. And, this review nudge me toward potentially buying copies.
I like the sound of the introspection that one of the characters is undergoing, and I assume that the real growth for the MC will come when they run into something similar. It does sound like she is much more interested in living out her fantasy youth, which is kind of the point, but I want to see a bit more about her growth before I decide to throw money at this series. Great review. |

Really enjoyed the two volumes released so far. I wish I knew the manga's status in Japan. I want more, but I don't know when I'll be able to get more, since Viz hasn't solicited a third volume yet.

Hmm, decided to have a look at the releases for this series. And, does seem a little worrying. First 2 volumes came out in 2014 (in Japan), 1st in March and the 2nd in December. Then, there was almost a full year between volumes 2 and 3, 3 coming out in December of 2015. No info on volume 4.
Couple that with the announcement of a new series, Akuma ni Chic×Hack, it does make me wonder... |

She was working on a second series alongside this one before, so my guess is that this is just running in a slower-releasing magazine.

Yes, the series runs in bimonthly magazine Melody, so it can only publish 6 chapters a year (if the author draws a chapter for every issue without breaks). Probably annual releases will be the norm.
