News Voice Actor Junichi Miyake, Artist Aoi Nishimata Marry

Voice actor Jun'ichi Miyake and illustrator Aoi Nishimata simultaneously announced on Saturday evening that they are marrying each other. They will hold a formal ceremony at Tokyo Disneyland's Cinderella Castle on May 5, which is Children's Day in Japan.
The couple thanked Miyake's agency Aoni Production, publishers, and other companies that work with either of them for their support. Nishimata is printing a "wedding photo & essay book" titled Nishimata Aoi ga Dansei Seiyū to no Kekkon o Kimeta Riyū (Why Aoi Nishimata Decided to Marry a Voice Actor) on June 24.
Both Miyake and Nishimata vowed to continue working in their respective fields.
Miyake is possibly best known for his role as Keno in the Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East television anime and its sequel. He also has played the role of Guo Jia in KOEI Tecmo Games' Dynasty Warriors series since Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme Legends, where his character joined the playable roster. Nishimata, an illustrator and former cosplayer, currently works at visual novel company Navel and has provided art for such games as Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~, Shuffle!, Last Approach, and Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai, all of which were later adapted into anime. Miyake played the role of Sakuya in the Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai game and anime. Most recently, she provided the character design for 500 in the Shanago Collection smartphone game. Apart from illustrating, Nishimata also writes lyrics.
