The Workouts Loved By Celebs That You Can Do Too
There's no getting over the fact that working out can be a pain in the arse - and we don't just mean that in the literal sense.
That said, keeping fit doesn't have to be hella boring and the celeb gang make for some pretty strong inspiration when it comes to getting inventive with the way you exercise.
And you want to hear the best bit? You don't have to earn ALL of the money to get in on their workout techniques - just check out the methods celebs including Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid and Tanya Burr use to work those #Instabods below.
Harry Styles - Pilates
Bearing in mind he's One Direction's answer to the wise old man of the forest, it's no surprise that Harry likes to excercise his body AND his mind with a spot of pilates.
It primarily helps with improving posture and toning muscles, but it's also a great one for de-stressing and working on your mental wellbeing too.
Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss - Ballet
If you want a ballet bod as graceful as Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss's, dance workouts like Barrecore are the ones for you.
Not only is dancing it out a really good way to get some cardio into your fitness regime, but time will fly by as you get stuck into mastering the routines. Plus you can bust them out at home after, which is always an added bonus.
Khloe Kardashian - Bosu Ball
We all know that Koko is queen of the gym and she's always mixing up the apparatus she uses to stay motivated and work all the core muscle groups. That said, one of her latest faves is the Bosu Ball, which she apparently reckons is a big factor in maintaining her killer bum.
Holding a squat on the unstable ball is an amazing excercise for toning up those glutes, but if you don't have one, doing the same on a firmly inflated air matress is a sneaky alterantive that will also do the same job.
Gigi Hadid - boxing
Before her debut as a Victoria's Secret Angel last winter, Gigi 'fessed up that she was in full training mode for the big show.
One of her favourite workouts in the mix was boxing, which will increase endurance, speed and muscle tone. Repeatedly hitting a bag is a pretty strong stress reliever too.
Calvin Harris - spin
Anyone who's checked out Calvin on Snapchat will know just how much he loves his bike, which has a weird virtual reality element that sees you cycle through some bonkers settings as you work out.
Granted that might be hard to get your hands on irl, but loads of gyms offer spin classes, which are a firm fave along the celeb lot like Harry Styles, David Beckham and the Kardashians.
Shay Mitchell - hiking
If you follow Shay and the model squad on Instagram, you might have noticed that they always seem to be posting snaps from hikes in the Hollywood hills.
Hill walking outside of LA might not be quite as glam or as likely to end in a celeb spot, but it's still a great low-impact workout for the legs.
Lea Michele - Running
An obvious one, but still massively trendy. Plus if you do start running, you can have all those in-the-know chats with other runners about how easy you find a seven minute mile these days.
Tanya Burr - yoga
YouTubing fave Tanya is a big advocate of the benefits of yoga, both spiritually and as a full body workout based on working muscles through stretches and holding poses.
Brooklyn Beckham - skating
Unless you're up for potentially breaking a bone, this one might be best avoided, but there's a lot to be said for the mental focus and skill it takes to nail a trick on a skateboard. If you master it, you're also going to look fly af gliding around on your board in general day to day life.
Zoella - Charlotte Crosby's Bum blitz
The girl wants a defined booty and naturally she turned to Charlotte's Bum Blitz to help her out. Get it on DVD and you can do it in the privacy of your own home, which is always a winner.
Ellie Goulding - Barry's Bootcamp
For those days when you cba and you need someone good at fitness to get you pumped and ready to work hard, Barry's Bootcamp is the fitness programme with a load of celeb fans, but which is open to us normals too. YAAAS.
Bella hadid - horse riding
It might not look like much of a workout, but you actually tone muscles in your legs riding horses that you never ever use for anything else.
It's cardio and will tone you up, plus is a big mental workout as building a relationship with your horse is all about building mutual trust and repsect.
Niall Horan - Golf
Thought golf was mainly for dads? THINK AGAIN. If this is what we have to thank for Nialler's sunny disposition and strong arm game then we are so on board.
Yes, even if we do have to wear cargo pants.
Justin Bieber - fishing
Ok, we're sort of kind of totally kidding with this one, but we still like to think casting that rod is the single thing that gave him those guns.
It gives a (very minor) bit of hope to all of us whose primary form of cardio is reaching out our arm to click 'continue watching' every three hours on Netflix.
