New license and release schedule
Funimation announced today that they have acquired the license to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. The series will be released in North America as Rumbling Hearts. Volume 1 will be released in October 2006.
Funimation also announced they will be moving to a monthly schedule (4~5 weeks) for numerous new anime, including Desert Punk (as of volume 2), Negima, Moon Phase and Rumbling Hearts. Speed Grapher, Trinity Blood and Basilisk will be released every 7 weeks. The release schedule will be based on the manner in which Funimation receives the episodes.
Months for new show releases:
Desert Punk - February
Mr. Stain - February
Speed Grapher - July
Basilisk - August
Negima - August (pushed from July for extras)
Moon Phase - Late August
Trinity Blood - September
