Interest Savage Garden's Darren Hayes Gives a Shout-Out to Latest JoJo Ending

The second episode of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable premiered on Friday, and with it the show's opening and ending theme song. Like previous seasons, Diamond is Unbreakable tapped a Western artist to provide the ending theme, which is fitting, given the show's many references to Western pop and rock music. Season four makes use of duo Savage Garden's 1996 track "I Want You."
Vocalist Darren Hayes gave a shout out to fans on Saturday, letting them know he was thrilled with the song's positive reception.
Thrilled that so many folks are happy we allowed ‘I Want You’ to be used in #jojo_anime - it's a cool show and I was happy to say yes.

Previous seasons used "Roundabout" by the band British band Yes, "Walk Like an Egyptian" by The Bangles, and "Last Train Home" by the Pat Metheny Group. Parody artist Weird Al Yankovic previously shared a clip from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure on Instagram after he was mentioned on the show.
