Storyline

When the steam generator explodes in O.R., Klinger pushes Charles out of the line of fire just in time, but B.J. catches part of the blast and has a serious arm injury. For saving his life, Charles declares he is fully indebted to Maxwell Klinger and becomes his personal assistant. But after several days of bowing to Klinger's ever command, Charles begins to wish he HAD been killed. Meanwhile, Hawkeye doesn't like the doctor called in to help treat B.J., who refuses to admit there is anything wrong with him. Written by <Explorerds6789>

Perhaps It Would Have Been Better to Be Dead
24 April 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Just before an explosion, Klinger shoves Charles aside and saves his life. Charles, who is incredibly condescending to the Corporal, feels indebted to him. Of course, Klinger now owns him, having him bring tea, food, read stories, and do his work. During the said explosion, B.J. took a fall and badly injured his wrist. Being the big macho guy he is (even he gets sickening from time to time) he refuses to let anyone look at it. Potter is concerned, so when he brings in a substitute surgeon, he chooses a specialist in injuries to the hand or arm. He is an older man. Since Hawkeye thinks he knows everything, he gets confrontational. The surgeon tries to do his job but Pierce can't keep his mouth shut. The character of Hawkeye has such disdain for arrogance when he is one of the most arrogant characters in all of television drama. After a while, it is sickening. Of course, the arm isn't healing.
