YouTuber Miranda Sings Just Landed A TV Show On Netflix
Just like the Virgin Mary (her words not ours), everyone's favourite YouTuber Miranda Sings has revealed a big announcement that involves a bun she's been cooking up in her internal oven.
While she's not actually pregnant, her news is just as exciting as she's gone and landed her very own TV show that will air as a Netflix Original series.
Strangely they haven't called the show Orange Is The New Miranda and instead have used iconic catchphrase 'Haters Back Off' as the name.
The premiere date is yet to be revealed, but the show itself will apparently be a scripted comedy style show and is expected to land later this year.
With Grace Helbig also landing an E! talk show last year, it's proof that mainstream broadcasters are finally starting to realise the influence of internet vloggers and is a pretty exciting development as far as we're concerned. While there's yet to be much info on what exactly the show will involve, we've got our fingers crossed it'll be some sort of sitcom with a musical element thrown in, purely because Miranda's dance moves take things to a whole other level.
Interestingly the show itself has been developed primarily by Colleen Ballinger-Evans, but with help from Perry Rein and Gigi McReery, both of who are known best for their work writing and producing on Friends and Selena Gomez's Disney show, Wizards of Waverly Place.
Better get perfecting your red lipstick application because the sooner we get this one in our eyeballs, the better.
