The House of St Barnabas‘ brand spanking new four day festival of art and culture comes to Soho today. It’s the charity’s first public arts festival and as well as a whole load of talks, workshops and live music, it’s a great excuse to explore the Grade 1-listed house and its lovely secret garden and chapel.

Art Social 14 will feature collaborations between artists and musicians including Patrick Murphy (he made the little orange pigeon above) and Keaton Henson, Barby Asante and Tony Nwachukwu, Margot Bowman and Actress & Giganta. They’ve all been asked to create visual and sonic installations, which will be exhibited throughout the house.

Public access to the exhibitions will be limited but tickets are totally free. There’s plenty going on whatever you’re into, from an interactive workshop exploring the human voice and a club night in the house’s Garden Room to an open house all-day event with a family friendly tea party.
