The edge of London

152 miles. That’s the distance it takes to walk around the rural edge of London, following the London Loop route – a kind of M25 for pedestrians. Tudor Prisăcariu, a Romanian photographer and digital designer/developer, decided to walk the whole thing, and documented his journey on his website. Says Tudor:

‘Although I had been based in London since 2004, until 2011 when I discovered the walk, I knew that I had only scratched the surface of a city that I still felt like a visitor in. Walking the Loop was the perfect opportunity to truly explore the city and make my London story come full circle.’

Take a visual tour along the London Loop, or learn more about the path that reveals – via Erith, Upminster, Cockfoster and Uxbridge – the places your tubes and buses really terminate.
