The V&A dig out some of their most glamorous and extravagant wedding dresses to document the history of the gown over the past two centuries. Find out when white became go-to shade for wedding dresses, as made popular by Queen Victoria in the nineteenth century. See the beautiful wedding garments that Vivienne Westwood, Vera Wang, Charles Frederick Worth and Christian Lacroix have made, as well as the purple dress that Dita Von Teese was wedded to Marilyn Manson in and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's wedding outfits.

loved every moment really gave me some inspiration for my art ideas. I love period costumes and it was lovely to seem them all and see the vast spread and changes in fashion through out the years
