Brewdog bottleshop

Bottledog
Scottish beer punks Brewdog have opened up pubs all over the city, but this is their first bottle shop, where you can get your hands on their own brews and 250 other beers to go. 69 Gray’s Inn Rd, WC1X 8TP.

Clapton Craft
This east London bottle shop specialises in ‘growlers’ (phwoar). Nothing dirty here, mind; just flagons of pressurised draught beer to take home, keeping your beer brewery-fresh. It also has one of the biggest bottle selections in town. 97 Lower Clapton Rd, E5 0NP.

Drink of Fulham
It’s not just east London that’s in on the craft beer action: this Fulham ale emporium sells a wide variety, including awesome Mikkeller beer from Denmark. 349 Fulham Palace Rd, SW6 6TB.

Mother Kelly’s
There’s a massive selection of bottled beers here, but there’s also a taproom so you can enjoy fine ales in situ. Those draught beers are available to take away in growlers too. 251 Paradise Row, E2 9LE.

Utobeer
Utobeer has been selling an entrancing range of international beers in Borough Market since 1999, long before all these young pretenders. There are 700 types on display at any one time. Hic! Borough Market, SE1 1TL.
