Old name, new location – Truman’s Brewery moves back to London
Truman’s Brewery, re-established in 2010 , has been brewing its beer in Suffolk for the last three years. Now though, it’s celebrating its move back to its spiritual home in East London with an opening party at their new brewery, The Eyrie, on Hackney’s Stour Road. Billed as a garden fete music festival, the brewery will be hosting live brass, soul and folk bands, food, and plenty of discounted beer from 2pm until 10pm, though the official opening ceremony is at 4pm. Admission is free, and children and families are welcome. A private shuttle bus from Hackney Wick Overground station to the brewery will operate on the day.
Truman’s Brewery opening party at the new Truman Brewery in Hackney (not the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane). The Eyrie, Stour Road, E3 2NT. September 14, 2-10pm. Free.
