You know the feeling, London. You wait 185 years and then 50 come along at once.

As part of TfL’s Year of the Bus, Regent Street will be closing this Sunday as dozens of buses – from the oldest horse-drawn 1820s models to the latest hydrogen-fuelled sexy red beasts – line up to be poked and prodded by you, the good people of London.

It’s not just for anoraks, though. Outside Hamleys there’s a bus shelter made entirely of LEGO, the TfL choir will be serenading all-comers and (best of all) ‘voice of the buses’ Emma Hignett will be on hand to record a personalised announcement for your mobile ringtone.

All aboard for an iconic day out!
