Have a wave rave at this underwater disco

underwater disco

Love going out dancing but always get too hot and sweaty? You’ll have no such problems if you’re in King’s Cross this Saturday night – there’s an underwater disco going down.

To celebrate the opening of a new leisure centre, Camden Council is putting on a sound bath (not the meditating type with singing bowls) in the brand new pool and everyone is invited. Dive in and be immersed in a watery soundscape, where you can bust some liquid moves and generally have a lovely float about. And just remember, sound travels four times faster in water than in air so get ready for an aural assault. No word yet on what they’ll be playing – fingers crossed for Aqua.

Under 16s can party 5-5.45pm or 5.45-6.30pm and the rest of us can play 7-7.45 or 7.45-8.30pm. It’s all free but you need to book a spot. Find out more at lovecamden.org.
