Crumbs! It’s the House of Toast building championships
Oh toast, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Your carb-tastic, crisp-coated, butter-melting perfection laughs in the face of bread. You are the hot smouldering highlight of my day. I want you morning, noon and late at night. You’re there for me when everything else has up and left (my cupboard). You’re The One. I wish we could just build a nice home and settle down together. Oh wait, now I can (almost), thanks to the Robin Collective’s new night House of Toast.
If you’re also a fan of the wheaty wonder, we recommend you get down to Drink, Shop & Do in King’s Cross this Thursday July 10 as they’re looking for London’s premiere toast architects to take part in a bread building battle. Each team will get slices, a toaster and the chance to win extra building materials including jam, cocktail sticks and marshmallow fluff for their toast house. Points will be given for height, grandeur, creativity and strength and there will be bread-themed tunes and toast-inspired cocktails to get the creative juices flowing.
Champions will take home the Golden Toast Trophy and all competitors will be able to chow down on their creations. Everyone’s a winner.
