One rump or two? TfL counts bums on seats

Transport for London is trialling screens that show seat availability on the upper decks of buses. CCTV will register whether or not seats are occupied and send the information to a display next to the driver. Never again will you have to endure that ignominious climb to the top deck of a packed bus in search of a seat, only to retreat sheepishly when there’s nowhere to park your keister. Truly London’s most embarrassing walk of shame, and it’s set to be banished for good. Thank you, TfL. From the bottom of our hearts (and vice versa). Thank you!
