A Badminton World Federation (BWF) sanctioned World Grand Prix international tournament featuring players from throughout the world. See top badminton at the North Shore Events Centre over 5 days of intense world class competition, starting on Tuesday 15th April with the qualifying competitions and the first round of the men’s and women's singles, finishing on Saturday 19th April with the finals of all events
The SkyCity New Zealand Badminton Open is the highest category BWF event to be held in New Zealand and promises to produce action packed quality badminton with smash speeds of over 250km/hr. This tournament is a chance to see New Zealand’s top and up and coming players in action at home.
Tickets range in price from $10 to $50 for a day or alternatively a tournament pass (5 days) is $110 with the first 50 purchased receiving a free X-TRM event souvenir shirt.
Tournament passes include premium seating on Friday and Saturday (all other days the entire venue is GA)
Court-side hospitality tables are available on Friday (semi-finals) and Saturday (finals), tables are for 6 or 4 persons or can be purchased as individual tickets
A family pass is available for Saturday and Sunday - 1 pass - 2 days. This gives entry to 2 adults and up to 3 children
There are Student GA tickets available for Friday and Saturday - Student ID will be required at the venue to gain entry with these tickets
There are no hidden costs - ie. NO FEES on the tickets - the event covers these - the price you see is the price you pay
