Take home a new friend from the SPCA

Rogue came to the SPCA after her previous owner's other dog attacked her. As a result she has some old scarring on her face but this just adds to her rogue-ish looks.

This 4-year-old Jack Russell is a confident dog who loves to cuddle but she can get scared easily, especially if she is surprised, so she is suited to an older home with sensible children.

Since her breed is known for having high energy, Rogue will need owners who can enforce firm rules and boundaries. She can jump very high so her home will need secure fencing.

If you are interested in adopting Rogue or any other animals call the Auckland SPCA on (09) 256 7300 or visit www.spca.org.nz.

Bob Kerridge's tip: If your animal is not de-sexed, your New Year's resolution should be to have it done immediately.
