Our Yahoo summer intern program is a great way to discover first hand
what life at Yahoo will be like. There will be no fake projects or mail
room sorting during your summer with us. But is it all work, and no
play? No way! Check out this video highlighting some of our favorite
2013 summer intern events.
It seems that for every company event, there is a t-shirt that goes along with it. By the time backend engineer, Arun Balasubramanian, hit the five-year mark of his Yahoo! career, he decided to put those t-shirts to use.
Arun's teammate Henry Tsai came up with the idea for him to wear a different Yahoo t-shirt every day for the entire month of August. The two documented this challenge on a tumblr titled Arun Wears Yahoo. With each post, they described the significance of each t-shirt, turning his tumblr into an educational tool about Yahoo!.
“I thought this blog would be a good place for people to know about the great work Yahoo! does and fun culture it has. So anyone who comes across this blog would get a mix of fun photos and the technology behind the team that printed the shirt,” said Arun.
Even though August is coming to a close, Arun plans to continue posting to tumblr as his t-shirt collection expands. Be sure to check out his tumblr, here!
