MaryLaura Mau is a visual artist who works with painting, photography and sculpture to deal with international social issues such as violence, conflict management, loss, living wages and women’s rights. As an arts administrator she is interested in facilitating the accessibility of art made with the intent to affect change within the global community. She is currently a graduate student at the Pratt Institute in Arts and Cultural Management. She holds a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. MaryLaura is an avid traveler and volunteer. She has enjoyed working for the Cheetah Conservation fund in Namibia and the Smithsonian Primate Project in Sri Lanka. [show less]
