That Charlie Brooker is one sick puppy. His Black Mirror is a Twilight Zone-like British series updated for the wired age. Paranoid about what galloping technological change is doing to us, apart from making us watch too many grumpy cats? These dark, funny dramas set not a million miles from now may not be for you. There are three self-contained stories in each of the two series. I’m not sure I could take more than that. The first, The National Anthem, involved the kidnapping of beloved royal Princess Susannah.
