No this should not be part of Hawke's Bay Trails. The Hawke's Bay Trails should cease to exist and be promoted as 3 or even 4 entirely separate attractions just look at Central Otago with all their different ones and the extra free recognition they get...

Emergency services heading to scene of dog attack

An ambulance and rescue helicopter are on the way to the scene of a dog attack in St Arnaud, in the Nelson Lakes region. A St John ambulance southern communications spokesman said there was understood to be one patient, but their condition was not yet known. A rescue helicopter had also been sent from Nelson. Emergency services were called about 11.55am.
