It occurred to us at Food Hub that we’d  been neglecting our favourite go-to ingredient: humble mince. When you can now get minced pork, venison, chicken and lamb,as well as beef, you could have a whole week of interesting dinners. Start with everyone’s favourite big beef burgers, then try this Asian twist on meatloaf with pork and prunes, a lamb mince soup with hints of the Mediterranean or a fast five spice pork stir fry. Head to Mexico for enchiladas, and make double batches of classic bolognaise sauce to freeze for dinners for the rest of the month. Budget-friendly and super-tasty, this is every cook’s best ingredient.
