Snow Planet staff member hospitalised

Snow Planet staff member hospitalised

A staff member was hospitalised after his arm was caught in a machine at Snow Planet this evening. Emergency services attended the incident about 6.30pm and it took them close to an hour to free the man, who was caught by his arm in a conveyor belt. Chief executive of the popular indoor snow attraction Tony O'Regan said the male staff member had been working on the "magic carpet". The machine takes skiers and snowboarders 200 metres up a beginners slope. The man was in a moderate condition when he was transported to North Shore Hospital by St John Ambulance.
