Le Dejeuner Catering Avon played Te Kiri on Friday night in Stratford. Avon had a great first half. Only 2-0 down the lads were playing well but the second half was a little different with Te Kiri scoring three goals in the first four minutes. Final score 8-0.

Avon's player of the day was Dominic Radich, with Ethan Lehmann and Cam Shaw always up with play.

Afterwards Brian Darth Funeral Services Stratford Men's A team played Hawera. This even match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Sandford's 4 Square Stratford B Women played Northern Gold in New Plymouth on Friday. Player of the day went to Jessica Taunt.

Sandford's 4 Square Broadway played NPBHS in New Plymouth on Saturday.

Broadway had a few senior players away for this game so with only one sub it was going to be tough. Boys High were up 2-0 at the turn, which soon became 4-0. The wine gums kicked in and Broadway were back in the game with two goals from PCs by Troy Edgecombe and Tom Butler, then a field goal by Cory Kieft. Boys High scored late in the game to finish 5-3. Broadway's player of the day was Shaun Lawrence.

Saturday Le Dejeuner Catering Stratford A Women played Northern Gold. Annika Roodbeen had another great game up the front, Bex Dearden showed her pace and Katie Taylor proved her worth which gained her player of the day. Final result a 4-0 win.

This week's games: Friday at 6.30pm Stratford A Women vs Stratford B Women. Saturday at 2pm Stratford A Men vs Broadway, 3.30pm Avon vs NPBHS.
