From the team
Happy New Year… we’re almost there and I intend to celebrate with a long cool drink in hand. I’m not so much about New Year’s Eve, more of a New Year’s Day kind-a-girl, and this year I’m thinking I’ll be relaxing at the beach sharing a few of Peter Gordon’s Stolen Rum and Heilala Vanilla Syrup Cocktails with those around me.
A jug or two of something refreshing adds a touch of special to the day, and it doesn’t have to be alcoholic either – the Kerikeri julep sounds rather refreshing. The team has pulled together a few of their picks for summer drinks, over here.
If you’re looking for some light bites to serve with your drinks, this smoked snapper pate is easy to pull together and tastes delicious – you might even have your own freshly-caught smoked fish if you’re lucky enough to be on holiday already. You can find more party food ideas over on the Food Hub Pinterest board.
Cheers.
