Please plan ahead and apply as early as possible to allow enough time for your visa to be processed before your trip. We recommend applying for a visa at least three months before your planned travel date. While most applicants require appointments and personal interviews, visa renewal applications can usually be sent in by courier, and processed without an interview at the Embassy or Consulate. In all cases, final travel plans or the purchase of tickets should not be made until the visa is issued.
