The current National Coaching Department Coaches were used as presenters during the course in many different aspects as to the delivered syllabus, SLC Coaching staff are qualified coaches who have also played the game at competitive levels & possess good presentation skills.

Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene also delivered a subject on ‘Mental Toughness’ at the request of the Coaching Department.

It was a great gesture on the part of Jayawardene to take time off his busy schedule gearing for the T20 World Cup in helping the Coaching fraternity by imparting his wide knowledge for the development of our Cricket in the country.

The current SLC Level 1 Coaching Course is endorsed & classified by the ICC.

The Coaching Department intends applying for I CC classification with regard to its SLC Level 2 Coaching syllabus.
