Curatorial Friends Groups

Explore a new way to get involved at the Met! Members of Curatorial Friends Groups enjoy unique opportunities to learn about the Museum and its collections, to participate in special programs, and to build relationships with curators and others who share similar interests, all in a behind-the-scenes, intimate setting.

Friends Groups also represent an important source of support for new acquisitions and programming within each curatorial department. Annual dues range from $1,000 to $10,000 and include a complimentary Membership, recognition in the Museum's Annual Report, and other benefits; a portion of the dues is tax deductible. Programming for these private events generally takes place from September through June of each year.

Membership in a Curatorial Friends Group is by invitation. Contact information for each group is listed on the following pages. Please note that group sizes are limited and there are certain restrictions regarding art professionals.
