The MIBF is both the largest, most prestigious forum for the publishing industry in Russia and a significant international event. It attracts more than 2500 participating organisations: publishers, distributers, libraries, universities and cultural centres from more than 80 different countries. The exhibition is held across six pavilions—over 33 500 square metres— at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre.

Russia is now the fourth biggest producer of books in the world in terms of published titles and can rightfully be called a world-leader in this field. Russian markets—books, newspapers, music and so on—are all experiencing dynamic growth. Whether you are looking for a new market for sales, for new authors or an investment project, Russia today offers a wealth of opportunities. The Russian book market is still in its formative stages and is open to cooperation with international partners as well as new technologies and projects.

The MIBF is the ideal place to get your foot in the door of the Russian book market.
